SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE DEAF OR HARD OF HEARING

Assisted listening devices: Each theater is equipped with sound enhancement headsets. They are available at the house manager’s office. A valid ID must be left as a deposit.

Interpreters: Sign language interpreters translate spoken words into sign language to assist guests with understanding the show. There are some limitations as to the location in the theaters where sign language services can be provided.  If you need the assistance of an interpreter or have any questions regarding seat location, please send an email to  VOLUNTEER@AKRONCIVIC.COM or call 330-535-3179 and ask for Autumn.
