Volunteer at the Goodyear Theatre

Do you want to participate in the arts and have fun supporting your community? Do enjoy meeting new people and making friends? Many people do including individuals, couples, families and groups of friends who are active volunteers at the New Civic. This is a great way to meet new people and take part in the excitement of Destination Downtown Akron. Plus you’ll get to see great shows for free! We are always looking for dedicated, courteous individuals to add to our volunteer staff.

Volunteers are needed to take tickets, seat patrons, and distribute programs. Volunteers must be able to stand for a period of time, walk comfortably and provide excellent customer service to our patrons. Volunteers are a vital part of the theatre operation and provide a wealth of valuable services to patrons. Training is provided.
